Quick followup to the UI work we were doing, here it is now with the camera and parts list operating live and dynamic - no longer just a sketch, but about 70% completed.

Opted for a stronger highlight to make it VERY clear which object is active, and the data-driven category browser will make it easier to find parts as well as more memory efficient.

We now have the workings of a basic parts browser!

On tomorrow’s stream, we’ll live customize a ship, picking out the body style, the paint job, the engines, and the bridge, then take it for a quick spin. Hope you’ll join us there

Here you can see Commodore @FadedKamui testing out the pre-pre alpha build in VR

While VR is not a primary target, it was a feature some of our backers requested… so we’re doing what we can to accommodate

This means the Early Access Alpha will have basic support.

New shot from the Pre Pre Alpha build, in game.
This is up in full HD wallpaper size for the Pizza Pilot and above tiers, as well.

Tooling around with the new prototype ship handling

New shot with the new black ship material.

More colors to choose from:

So you can build your ship, your way, with the parts you’ve discovered, crafted, and unlocked:

New wallpaper up for Patrons that also shows off the starting zone map!

Linux support is coming along nicely!
This is under our baseline, Kubuntu 21.10 running on a laptop.

Integrated AMD 7 graphics is managing 24-30 FPS:

and discrete Nvidia graphics is staying nicely in the 60-90 FPS range:
